Different types of transparent roller shutters
Transparent roller shutters consist of a steel casing and aluminium slats, hinges and guides. All parts can be powder coated in a RAL colour of your choice. The transparent polycarbonate is many times stronger than glass of the same thickness. Models with a special, scratch-resistant coating are also available.
Depending on your requirements, there are different types of transparent roller shutters: the JBT-Solo, the JBT-Quad and the JBT-Vision. The JBT-Solo is suitable for clear passages up to 12 m2. Above that, it is advisable to take the JBT-Quad or JBT-Vision type. These roller shutters are equipped with thicker hinge profiles and thicker polycarbonate to span larger widths.
